Charli – Culture-Driven Safety & Wellbeing Trainer

Charli’s journey in making learning fun and safe began in 1988 with early childhood education, sparking a lifelong commitment to fostering secure environments. Her extensive travels and time spent living in diverse countries deepened her understanding of safety across all ages. She designed specialised first aid courses for care providers, equipping them with the skills to protect and respond effectively.

Today, with experience spanning aviation, forestry, construction, diving, outdoor education, and care and support industries. Charli applies her expertise across diverse workplace settings. She specialises in developing adaptive training programs that accommodate neurodiverse needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all participants. Using adaptive adult education techniques, she tailors safety courses to workplace realities, helping teams integrate knowledge into practice with confidence, embedding workplace policies and people dynamics into engaging, practical learning.

Through her culture-driven approach, including the Māori values of Manaakitanga and a holistic approach to safety and wellbeing: Charli ensures workplace training is more than just a checklist—it’s an opportunity to build resilience, strengthen teams, and embed lasting safety leadership into everyday practice that moves them beyond compliance,  toward true confidence fostering care, connection, and collective wellbeing.
